On Labor Day, we decided to get outside and enjoy nature at Rock Island State Park. The kids loved feeling the spray from the waterfall.
And they could have stayed there for hours throwing rocks into the water. A little kid's paradise!
Apparently reading is much more fun with umbrellas on a couch. Who knew?
September is county fair time! We continued our annual trek to the Lincoln County Fair, where Kaitlyn and Ethan discovered a new favorite ride (the swings) and a not-so-favorite one (the Tilt-a-Whirl).
In October, we took the kids to see Disney on Ice. This was on the way to the show. Can you tell they're excited about it?
This year for Halloween, Kaitlyn decided she wanted to be a cowgirl. Which of course meant that Ethan immediately wanted to be a cowboy. No complaining here, though, because those costumes were super-easy to put together! All I had to buy were the hats!
For trunk-or-treat at church, Kaitlyn's BFF Kate dressed up like a cowgirl too. Double cuteness!
